Announcements

A public budget meeting of the Park and Recreation District will take place at 6963 Cabernet Place.  The date is Wednesday, June 13th.  The time is 7 pm.  Anyone seeking more information should call John Snelling
(745-5471) or email (snellinj@peak.org).  Complete notices have been posted on the speed posts on Concord (both ends), the Bus Shed on Concord, and the utility pole on Burgundy.  All residents/property owners are welcome and encouraged to attend.  The attached PDF gives complete information.
 
Also don't forget the Road District meeting on Tuesday, June 12th.

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING (open to the public)

A public meeting of the Budget Committee and Board of Directors of the Vineyard Mountain Park and Recreation District, Benton County, State of Oregon, is scheduled to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013.  The meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 30 at 7:00 PM.  The meeting place is the home of Treasurer/Budget Officer John Snelling, 1420 NW Worden Circle.  A copy of the budget documents (LB 20, 30, 31 and 2011-12 ledger) may be inspected or obtained after May 20 at 1420 NW Worden Circle, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM;  please call (745-5471) or e-mail (snellinj@peak.org) if you want to inspect or obtain the documents.

 

The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message, to discuss and deliberate the proposed budget, to receive comment from the public, and if time permits to discuss any other business presented before the Board.  This is a public meeting, and any resident/owner/taxpayer of Vineyard Mountain additions may appear and discuss the proposed budget with the Committee.  Additional questions or comments can be made to the Treasurer/Budget Officer by e-mail at snellinj@peak.org.

Work Party - July 11th 9am-1pm

NEWS RELEASE – save the date July 11th

WHAT:  Vineyard Mountain Community get together and work party.

 WHY: The path from the Concord/Worden parking area to the bus shed is nearly complete.  Beautiful new signs are in place. Let’s work together to get the project done.  Let’s get reacquainted.

 WHEN:  Saturday July 11, 9AM to 1PM

 WHERE:  Park at the Concord/Worden Parking or along the “pool road” off Concord.

 HOW:

Bring your family and friends

Bring Weed Eaters (string trimmers), rakes, shovels, wheel barrows, gloves, Technu, trash bags, sunscreen, work shoes, ENERGY

We will do the following:  

                                               Spread gravel over the remaining 300 ft. of the path

                                                Weed wack the path and along its sides

                                                Pick up trash and debris from along the path

                                                Have fun, get to know our neighbors, and visit about a strategic vision for our Park District

 

COFFEE AND ROLLS WILL BE PROVIDED.  YOU MIGHT EVEN BRING A PICNIC LUNCH.
